An evening of community building and ideas exchange as they celebrate creativity and 20 years of building the BAYCAT community! A gathering of like-minded creatives having meaningful, facilitated conversations about the ever-evolving landscape of the media industry and how to ride creative waves. Speakers for the Fireside Chat included Niema Jordan (Filmmaker & Co-Director of Cinemama), Damien McDuffie (Creative Technologist & Founder of Black Terminus AR), and Madison Scott (Junior Publicist at Pixar Animation Studios).

The Foundation’s Annual Authors Dinner is a unique cultural event that honors local authors and spotlights the Bay Area’s literary tradition. Proceeds from the gala support innovations, building improvements, and literacy projects at the Berkeley Public Library.
